I was told by two of the dentists that my crown would cost £2000. When I came to pay for it . The first charge cost me £1788.30. I assumed this was the full cost yet when I came to have the crown put on I paid another £612. The total cost was £2400.30. £400 more than expected. The first dentist told me the cost of an implant and telling me that a crown and root canal would cost £2000. I don’t think they gave me a plan. I wasn’t feeling 100% but did query the total cost . The receptionist was new so couldn’t explain why it had cost more than I was quoted. I am not sure if the 10% for being a member of the plan was taken into consideration. I have spent an awful lot of money at Portmore and always received a plan. This time I didn’t have a plan but I was definitely told it would be £2000.
