The cost of the dental hygienist is far too expensive. I was taken aback to be charged £70 for a 15 minute appointment. Jess got in at 2.05 and was out by 2.18. £70 for 15 minutes equates to £280 for an hour - this is more than a private surgeon charges. Had we taken Jess to the hygienist at the orthodontist upstairs, it would have been substantially cheaper. The charges need to be clearly displayed in the practice, particularly since the cost is almost double of what any other dentist surgery charges.
