With regards to your rating of 2/10 for timekeeping - and following our phone conversation a moment ago - I think it was a combination of you arriving a little early and us keeping you waiting a little while (8 mins) that culminated to you waiting a while longer than necessary. Huge apologies on our part, we really dislike keeping our patients waiting as we know ourselves how valuable time is - unfortunately, if the first patients of the day run a little late this has a knock-on effect on our whole session which can be out of our control.

Regarding your comments about the wifi, I totally agree, the patient wifi can be a little weak at times. Our IT guys & internet provider have looked into it on numerous occasions and it seems there is a glitch in the system somewhere, but no-one seems to know where! I'm hoping that in the near future we can sort this once and for all - I will keep you posted!

Good but the actual hygiene clean was very un pleasant. It felt like they were not used to the equipment and water was spraying everywhere and not running down my neck. I also the salt spray was very salty (felt like they put too much in as it was not ready to go). I have have had better experiences in the past – How would you describe your overall experience?

With regards to your recent hygiene appointment, I am going to have a chat to your hygienist today to ask for their feedback on your visit, and will get back to you via telephone to discuss in more detail.
We have actually used invested about £25'000 on 2 new hygiene chairs which have ben installed fairly recently. The chairs are wonderful, very state of the art, but we have had a few minor teething issues with them as you may expect. The 'salty' taste was in fact the 'airflow' powder that is part of the stain removal process. The airflow system is a great technique to remove stains and to whiten the teeth, but agreed, the taste is a little salty - let me do some research to see if we can come up with an alternative.
I am so sorry to hear that your visit did not live up to your expectations, not our intention at all, we do try our best to ensure that every patient has a 10/10 visit with us. I will call you today to discuss further, but in the meantime I would like to offer you a 2nd follow-up appointment completely free of charge.

I am an extremely nervous patient and everything possible was done to put me at ease. Going to the dentist is never going to be an enjoyable experience for me but I was so grateful for the service and attention I received from the moment I got there. Eben did a fantastic job and I have asked reception to give a special thank you to the dental nurse who was so calm and reassuring throughout. Regarding the welcome, we do pride ourselves on ensuring our patients have a warm welcome into the practice, what could we have done better? Were you referring to your feelings about the TV or news programmes? We do try to accommodate patient preferences where possible, and most patients have advised they prefer the radio rather than the TV. However, we do have a full range of newspapers daily for patients who wish to catch up on the news. Your opinion is valued and I will bring this up as a point of discussion at our next team meeting.

As you know, we run a morning team meeting, every day, to ensure that the day ahead runs smoothly & efficiently for our patients and we are equipped to deal with individual patient needs.
Our clinics start at 8am and we 'huddle' at 7.45am each day - very occasionally we may overrun by a minute or 2, but this is by no means a regular occurrence, the last thing we want is to start our clinics late as this impacts on our whole day.
Our records show that you were seated in the chair at 8.01, I'm sorry if we kept you and it caused you any inconvenience.

Regarding our fees, I feel these reflect the standard of dentistry and service that we provide. We do invest a lot of money into the practice and into team training and development which in turn ensures that our patients receive the very best of care. We do offer a monthly payment plan which enables our patients to budget for their routine maintenance such as examinations & visits to the hygienist. The membership plan also provides patients with a 15% discount on any treatment needed, if you would like to join the plan, please give Naomi a call and she will happily organise this for you.
