Although the hygienist was fairly good she was clearly a temp/stand in? I was not made aware of this. During the (non manual) scaling process there was too much in my mouth. Another nurse was moving the suction around and the hygienist seemed to be haphazard. I was uncomfortable but it didn't hurt. I much prefer my usual hygienist. – How would you describe your overall experience?

The hygienist that you saw was indeed a locum, however we have used her on other occasions such as holiday cover etc, and we usually have great feedback. Your Therapist, Gemma has since left the practice, but we still have Lois working with us who you have seen before. I do take your concerns seriously and would like to offer a free of charge follow-up visit with Lois, just to ensure that you are a) happy with the treatment we provide and b) see a familiar face, someone you already feel comfortable and confident with.

I will give you a call shortly to get this booked in the diary.

In terms of cost, we do offer a monthly payment plan for £18 p/m, this means that patients can budget for all their routine dental care/maintenance, there is also the added benefit of a 15% discount on all future treatment provided at the practice. Even though going to the dentist is one of my least favourite necessities, at Portmore all of the staff are very calm, friendly and welcoming. They make the whole experience a bit more bearable and I truly appreciate this. – How would you describe your overall experience?

Apologies for keeping you waiting yesterday, sometimes if previous patients turn up a couple of mins late it can have a 'knock on' effect on our whole session. We try our best to run to time wherever possible as we understand it can be frustrating for patients to be kept waiting, especially if they have to go back to work.
